Exterior Damage caused by Hurricane Georges was extensive. It was so extensive that the patching of the E.I.F.S. without visually recognizing the patches was impossible. To mask the repairs a high build 100% Silicone Elastomeric system, of multiple colors, was applied to all exterior surfaces of the Casino, Lowrise Facility and the Highrise Hotel. The Hurricane struck during construction with a opening date scheduled and publicized. This made this project accelerated resulting in a 24 hour day and 7 day week schedule. To reach the surfaces an elaborate system of suspended stages, scaffolds, manlifts and barges was employed. All of this work was performed in the final stages of construction of this massive project when normal finishing touches are being made such as landscaping, staining concrete and paving.
