This facility is used for temporary housing for National Guard Units that come to Gulfport for training and was designed with durability as one of the primary criteria. Constructed of Concrete Masonry Units and specifying a knock-down Acrylic Wall System made this project unique. The masonry required skimming the CMU's smooth prior to the application of the wall system. The ceilings in this facility required the same system as the wall except with a different texture. All furdowns were finished smooth and wall covering applied. The exterior concrete of the porches was textured and painted. The common areas of this facility are tastefully and functionally decorated using acrylic wall systems and vinyl wall covering.
